I am a videographer/photographer based in Nepal. I have recently invested in Sony FX3 (I am in debt he.. he...). Regardless of that, I found the Sony FX3 perfect for the job I do, except for the amount of money I spent on it. I bought this camera in a store from Pako, New Road called Pritika Camera Store (The owner of the store is extremely helpful, in case you need any help on camera stuff here is the number 015339920/9841224127).
Before I used Sony, I used Canon and Blackmagic so this Top 5 features of Sony FX3 are based on my experience compared to other cameras.

1 Compact and lightweight design: The Sony FX3 is designed to be both compact and lightweight, making it easy to handle and carry for extended periods of time. This was a game changer for me because I have to carry the camera for a long period of time. The camera is only big as other mirrorless cameras, so that way it is perfect. Even after I build it up, the camera is half the size and weight compared to my Blackmagic 6k Pro. The camera handle also helps to mount an XLR mic! No need of rigging this camera :). I love that.

2. Full-frame sensor and Dual-Based ISO: OK, they are two things but, these features make this camera a beast. I have to work in places and situations where there are very poor lighting conditions. The images coming out of this camera are so good... thanks to its full-frame sensor with Dual-Based ISO.
3. File Size: Coming from Blackmagic, this has been a big relief to me. Before this camera, a daylong of shoot would amount to about 1 TB. It was impossible to store the videos. The amount of hard drive it needed gave me anxiety. I am doing a month-long project at the moment and the footages has hardly crossed 500 GB. :) It does not sacrifice image quality at all. This is great about this camera.
4. Color Science of Sony: It is so easy to edit and specially to get the skin tones right. I always struggled with other cameras. Compared to Canon I find it equally good. Maybe, I love how Canon has better reds, but the skin tone coming out of this camera is excellent.

5. Built-in image stabilization: The FX3 features built-in image stabilization, helping to reduce camera shake and ensure smooth, steady footage. To do documentary work I have to track the movement of my subject. I need to be moving along with them and most of the shots are handheld, this feature has been a great help.
In conclusion, I do sound like a fan-boy, and I am. I love my Sony FX3. Besides that, I have found some drawbacks with this camera. Expensive memory cards, complicated menus and recently I got a corrupted file because the battery died. I need to get around with those quirks.
Thanks for reading this blog. Hope it was helpful for you.
